More Welcome Thoughts!

When you walk up to your front door, what is the little voice in your head saying about what you see? Unless it’s “ahh, lovely”, consider adopting one or two of these sweet little somethings to support that all important sense of welcome!

Calibrachoa 'Million Bells'

I'm loving Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' and 'Wave' Petunia - they bloom all summer. Doesn't it look snappy with the bright lime Sweet Potato Vine?

More Color. It’s the easiest thing to add, possibly the least costly thing to add (depending how you do it) and makes the most impact. Why, oh, why would you resist? If the idea of a zippy front door color is too scary (see last post), plant a glazed pot chock-a-block full of flowers. Remember ‘something tall, something small and something trailing’ and your container will look phenomenal…

Touch. When was the last time you really looked at your doorbell? Consider this: it’s the first thing a visitor touches at your home. Your doorbell can easily be changed out for really special choices – think jewelry for the home. Flopping Fish makes many rustic options for front doors, including this Bird Doorbell for $42.
