From "The English Garden"
Color inspiration is all around if you just pay attention to the cues. Keeping up with the British theme for the week, this color palette is gathered from a charming English style garden. Warm, rosy pink is contrasted with a lavender tinged blue and slightly lemony white. A lush deep green compliments a bright yellow-green to mimic the play of multi-toned leaves. Create a “garden” room in your home by painting walls one color (like Jadite) and using the other fresh-picked hues in fabrics and accessories.

Sherwin Williams colors: Redbud 6312, Citrine 6714, Jadite 6459, Gleeful 6709, Windy Blue 6240

Pink isn’t just for Barbie houses and bubble gum and sleuthing panthers. Pink is sweet, warm and soothing and a beautiful, surprisingly versatile color for many rooms. What will influence colors in fashion and design for 2011? The social and economic climate has a fascinating and direct impact on color trends in clothing and home decor.
